Homestyle Meatloaf

Easy and delicious. A updated version of your mother's meatloaf.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 5 slices of thick cut bacon

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Combine all ingredients in bowl and combine well.
  • Form into loaf in baking pan. ┬áLay strips of bacon over top
  • Bake 1 hour or until juices run clear.
  • Cover with a sauce if you choose.
